BGLoader
This software is currently in it's alpha stage and being developed by me and another developer.
This downloader will allow people to download files faster using threaded downloading and download things from every service that we make a plugin for.
I have made several downloaders in the past so I decided that it would be best to unify them and spread them as plug-ins for this program.
Plug-ins for BGLoader will be standalone and not limited to only downloading files but also downloading HLS streams. HLS streams are currently supported through FFmpeg but I am looking to eventually ditch FFmpeg as a dependency to make this program fully standalone.
There will be a feature to monitor email inboxes for notifications from services and start downloading based on that notification without needing any user interaction at all. For example a YouTuber you subscribed to starts streaming while you are asleep, if this program is running it will automatically start downloading the stream and if the Youtuber deletes the livestream when they go offline you can still watch it the next morning! (This one actually affects me personally...)
It is scheduled for release mid 2021 alongside several plug-ins.
